What types of items does MzCraftyPants make? Does she modify pre-existing products or does she make items from scratch?

MzCraftyPants and Diva's Rockin' Crochet currently specializes in making knitted, hand-crafted goodies using yarn and or string, rather than modifying existing accessories or clothing.

All items are unique creations, by the hands of MzCraftyPants. The only modifications are turning balls of colored yarn into a special item, just for you.

Why do all items on your site have to be pre-ordered? Isn't that how all online shopping is done?

Typically, when you place an order, online, you are placing a "pre-order". But, when you order from a typical store, they tend to have several hundred pre-made items, in stock.

Diva's Rockin' Crochet currently has a limited inventory because your items are made to order (made to your personal tastes), so pre-orders are required, in order to accommodate all parties involved in the sale; the customer, and their order specifications and the creator, and the special/extra materials that may be required to make each unique creation.

Should I place my pre-order with MzCraftyPants before shopping on Diva's Rockin' Crochet?

You can contact MzCraftyPants if you have a special order request for a product or product attribute that is not currently listed on our store site.

If you want the item pictured, you can merely place your order on the store site without first contacting MzCraftyPants.

How do I place a special order?

If you have a specific item, not currently listed, that you would like to see made and you do not want to wait until MzCraftyPants posts her unique design in the store, you may contact MzCraftyPants via email and place your pre-order (using the special order link) to guarantee prompt creation and delivery of your item(s).

How will my item(s) be delivered/shipped?

If your item will be delivered within Colorado Springs, Colorado city limits, MzCraftyPants is happy to personally deliver your item.

If your item will be delivered within the continental US, it will be shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail.

How soon will my item(s) be delivered/shipped?

Unless otherwise noted (depending on the item/special order), your item is guaranteed to be delivered/shipped within 2-4 weeks of your initial order.

If you still have not received your order within 6 weeks, unless otherwise noted (that it might take longer), contact MzCraftyPants, as soon as possible, so that a remedy can be offered (discount, rebate, or refund: see Terms and Conditions for more information).

What sizes do you offer? How do you size items?

MzCraftyPants does not (currently) make big items such as blankets, clothing, or big bags. Current sizing is based on either the actual proportions of individual items (if no other size is available) or, such as in the case of hats or headbands, based on the average sizes designed for either a) infants: small, b) young children/tweens: medium, or c) young adults/adults: large.

What kind of materials do you use to make your creations?

Each item on our site is uniquely made. With the exception of the scrunchies (made from pre-fab hair ties/rubber bands), all items are made exclusively by MzCraftyPants.

There are as many types of yarn as there are crafts to make them, but typically MzCraftyPants uses a light-weight, 4-ply/4-strand, knitting yarn. Most products on this site are made with either 100% acrylic yarn (standard knitting yarn) or 100% cotton yarn (all natural, less fuzz), or a combination of the two, unless otherwise posted.

Can I order an item in a different color than the item pictured?

Yes. The pictures are merely samples of what is currently available. Unfortunately, the store is limited to showing one item without benefit of color selection. This is one of the reasons why customers pre-order, to be sure that the item they choose is going to arrive in the size and color that they choose, even if it is not currently listed on the site at this time.

What colors or materials are currently available?

You may choose from the following colors/materials when placing your order:

Black: 4-ply, worsted, 100% acrylic

Cilantro (light green): 4-ply, worsted, 100% acrylic

Fleck (off-white with flecks of black, green, brown): 4-ply, worsted, 96% acrylic/4% other fibers

Hot Purple: 4-ply, worsted, 100% cotton

Indigo (Blue): 4-ply, worsted, 100% cotton

Mod Green: 4-ply, worsted, 100% cotton

Orange: 4-ply, worsted, 100% cotton

Red: 4-ply, worsted, 100% cotton

Strawberry (blended pink, white): 4-ply, worsted, 100% cotton

White: 4-ply, worsted, 100% cotton

Yellow: 4-ply, worsted, 100% cotton

This list is constantly growing and you may also place a special order (for an additional charge) if the color or materials you desire is not currently listed.

If an item comes in one color, can I order it in two?

Yes. You can order an item to be made with more than one color for a nominal fee ($1/per extra color, per item).

If an item is two (or more) colors, can I order it in one?

Yes. You can order an item to be made in one color, at no extra charge.

If an item doesn't come with a floral accent, can I get one added?

Yes. You can add an accent to your item for a nominal fee ($1/per accent, per item).

If an item comes with a floral accent, can I order it without the accent?

Yes. You can order an item without the accent, at no extra charge.
